Your show stays
in this browser.

Cuefold’s application code stores the working draft and frozen versions in local storage on the current browser profile.

What the app stores

Show titles, dates, timezone labels and offsets, cue instructions, media filenames, related cue IDs and frozen versions are saved under cuefold.workspace.v1. They are not encrypted by the app. Anyone using the same device and browser profile may be able to read them.

What leaves your browser

The app does not send show content to an application server. There is no analytics script, advertising pixel, third-party font, application API call or payment service. JSON files are read locally and validated; media files are never uploaded. Exported CSV/JSON files and print/PDF output go to the destination you select.

Loading this hosted website still makes network requests to the hosting platform. The platform may process access logs, IP addresses, browser information and authentication cookies under its own policies. “Local storage” is not a claim that the hosting platform collects nothing.

Backup, deletion and retention

Browser data remains until you reset it, clear site data, change browser profiles or the browser removes it. Private-browsing sessions may discard it on exit. There is no server backup or account recovery. Save recovery JSON before clearing data or moving devices.

To delete your local workspace, use your browser’s site-data controls. If saving is paused, the on-screen Reset local workspace action clears the saved workspace after confirmation. Downloaded files and printed copies must be deleted separately.

Protecting a handoff

A frozen version is an independent local copy, not a digital signature or tamper-evident record. JSON can be edited outside the app. Share exports only with the intended production team and handle any personal information according to your event’s requirements. Cuefold does not send messages or invite crew.

Browser assistants

When the browser supports WebMCP, a read-only tool may expose the working schedule to a browser assistant at your direction. It does not edit your show or run an external network request from this app. Assistant access is controlled by the browser.

Release scope

This release is publicly accessible at run-show.cueandframe.com. Public information pages allow search-engine crawling; your browser-local shows are not uploaded or published. Each website address has separate browser storage: save recovery JSON at the old address before moving to this address, then import it here. This page describes the current implementation; it does not claim a third-party security audit. No payment service has been added.
